    Dino-Era Seabird Fossils Found in New Zealand  Feb 23, 2008
    The oldest known bird fossils from were recently unearthed along a remote stretch of beach on the Chatham Islands, researchers announced. The fossils represent possibly four new species of seabirds dating back to the late , around 65 million years ago. (National Geographic)

The director of Oxford's Museum of Natural History, Jim Kennedy, said on Thursday this was the first repatriation of human remains since a new claims procedure was established by the university in 2006.
