Teachers are using the flag tour to "let their students know there are 159 counties,'' Giles said. One hopes no sadistic teacher makes them memorize all those names. Which brings up this point: It will take two months to hit all the county seats in Georgia. Alabama, which is of similar size, makes do with only 67. Only Texas with 254 has more.
