Timmy Time is an Aardman Animations production and the eponymous hero obviously owes much to that other ovine extrovert, Shaun the Sheep. The show has some of the whimsy of Aardman classics such as Wallace and Gromit and Creature Comforts but because this is computer animation rather than the painstakingly slow claymation of the older productions, it lacks much of their charm.
