Trio of apartments burgled on Westside May 20, 2009
Thieves kicked in the back door of one apartment and stole a flat-screen TV, laptop computer, modem and hand tools, police said, and smashed a window of another apartment and stole shoes, jewelry, antique collectibles, two stereos and compact discs. An officer investigating the burglaries noticed the back door of a third apartment had been kicked in, but no one was home to say if anything was stolen, according to police. (Athens Banner-Herald)
