    After I had my throat surgery in 1999 (uvulopalatopharyngoplasty with a tonsillectomy) to correct sleep apnea, they put me on pain killers which unfortunately put me in a strange state of mind where I paced the house convinced that the government had put small transmitters inside the pills in order to control my mind.
