Woman charged with assault in hospital confrontation Nov 18, 2009
Audrey Toliver was taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail after being charged with domestic violence aggravated assault, according to police Sgt. Paul Barnett. Toliver's father is a patient in the hospital on the general medicine floor and just before 2 p.m., Toliver and her stepmother began arguing about her father's hospital care. Her other achievements include being associate director for the Legal Aid Society of Louisville, a managing attorney for the Southeastern Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation, and, from 2002 to 2007, a vice provincial of the Western Province of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.
