I heard that they were going to continue painting this Saturday (Nov. 7), but the city of El Centro stopped the project because it was confirmed that the building has lead paint on it. Is this dangerous? I’m assuming that when it was getting cleaned last week some of the lead was exposed. What is the city planning on doing to correct this and clean up the library?
