Conductor Christie who is music director of the Phoenix Symphony and Boulder-based Colorado Music Festival in addition to the Brooklyn Philharmonic did well at keeping the musical forces together. He was similarly effective in Mozart and Dukas, though his style favored forcefulness and fast tempos more than refinement. (San Diego Union-Tribune)

Nielubowski was previously contrabassoonist of the Chicago Lyric Opera Orchestra and principal bassoonist of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra and the Contemporary Chamber Players of the University of Chicago.
