The coveted gold passes for the Black Bear Film Festival flew out the door Monday, selling out just four hours after becoming available at 11 a.m. "This is the first time this has happened so fast," said Nancy Pitcher, president of the nonprofit festival. "If we had a larger venue, we could probably sell twice as many." The passes, $150 each, allow access to the opening night gala, an opening night film, both on Oct. 15, and all other films shown during the three-day event. (Times Herald-Record, NY)
