" Last week, two lawsuits were filed in B.C., one from the family of Braeden Hale, the other from Stacey Curtis and Marissa Richmond. In the latter suit, the plaintiffs claim that an engine design flaw, coupled with poor maintenance, caused the crash. They also allege that air traffic controllers directed the pilot to Tofino instead of the closer Port Alberni; and that Transport Canada did not properly regulate Sonicblue.
