Founded in 1993, LEF s first grants included support of the (then) Junior/Senior High School Play, science enrichment programs, a parent/student writing workshop, a handcrafted book workshop and a disabilities awareness program managed by the school nurse to increase student awareness and acceptance of people with physical challenges.
