Council on Track to Issue Bonds for Pauwels Plant Nov 5, 2008
During their meeting Monday night, city council members unanimously approved a resolution of intent to issue the bonds which will be offered in two series. The initial offering would be $8 million in tax exempt bonds and the second would be $12 million in taxable bonds. (Missourian Publishing, MO)

" After BYU led early in the first game, 4-3, the Huskies took control and opened up a five point lead on two different occasions, once at 14-9 and then again at 18-13. The Cougars scored five straight points, though, to tie it up. Washington held its last lead at 22-21 before four straight Cougars points gave them a 25-22 lead. Arrested alien has long record, patrol says Nov 27, 2007
One of the three arrested near Winterhaven was identified by the patrol as Pedro Alvarado-Suarez 41, who has record of 23 arrests in Arizona, California, Montana, and Washington dating back to 1986. Alvarado-Suarez's prior charges were of robbery, burglary, assault, possession and sale of a controlled substance, vehicle theft and unlawful use of firearm, the release said. (Yuma Daily Sun, AZ)
