Regarding the July 7 article "With E-Verify, too many errors to expand its use?": The article has a major shortcoming in that it makes no attribution for the cause of the Social Security Administration's (SSA) database error that resulted in Fernando Tinoco's nonconfirmation. Instead, the article starts from the premise that the database error is somehow a fault of the system even though this may not be the case. (Christian Science Monitor)
