As the erudite Columbia-High Road rider and ex-Armstrong teammate Michael Barry put it to me at the Tour of California, "He's kind of a different athlete than he was three years ago. I think it's going really well now that we have four riders in the pro tour - Christian Meier, myself, Michael Barry and Ryder Hesjedal. What we need, though, are more programs like my previous [all-Canadian] team Symmetrics to farm guys to this level. (Globe and Mail)
