    Drug dealer steals bikes  Sep 17, 2009
    A Hyde Park man told police he saw Broomstein use his red and black bolt cutters to steal two bikes a black Gary Fisher Manitou 21-speed bicycle worth $250 and a black and gray Magna Excitor 21-speed bicycle worth $100 from the pole on Cambridge Street in Charlestown. The man called 911 and followed Broomstein from Sullivan Square to Mount Vernon Street until police arrived, according to reports. (Somerville Journal, MA)

    An ice cream machine was reported taken from Chestnut Hill Citgo, 845 Boylston St., on July 31, at 2:46 p.m. On July 29, at 4:46 p.m., a Centre Street resident reported that someone had stolen parts from his Gary Fisher mountain bike sometime in the last 24 hours. A black Audi A4 was reported stolen from a meter on Babcock Street on July 29, at 2:42 p.m. The car had reportedly been parked there at 10:30 a.m., and was not in the tow system. (Brookline TAB, MA)
