Southwestern College Could Lose Accreditation Feb 4, 2010
-- Southwestern College has been put on probation and could lose its accreditation if problems plaguing its Chula Vista campus for years aren't fixed, it was reported Wednesday. In a letter released Tuesday by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Southwestern was told its has until October 2011 to resolve its issues but has to show some improvement by this fall, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
