    The incident, allegedly took place, in the area of 2800 South College Avenue, sometime between 2004 and May of 2006. It appears that only one incident occurred with a female child between the age of 7 to 9 years old, according to the police report. (Rensselaer Republican, IN)

    In Rensselaer, a sobriety checkpoint at the intersection of South College Ave. and Parks Drive, resulted in 76 vehicles checked, July 6, at 12:01 a.m. Rensselaer Police Chief Jeff Phillips said the goal of the checkpoint that was funded by Drug Free Jasper County was to increase safety of the residents by deterring any alcohol offenses and get impaired drivers off the road.
