    Former Newton South High tennis standout Alex Fromson is now a freshman at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., where he was 4-2 in both singles and doubles in the fall and has started the spring season with victories in his singles and doubles matches against Union College and the College of New Jersey. Alex has been a great addition to our program and has really exceeded our expectations, said Skidmore head coach Nate Simms, whose team is the defending Liberty League champion.
