Moraga, CA - Giancarlo Trevisan, former rowing coach at Saint Mary's College of California and a member of the College's Athletics Hall of Fame, passed away on May 13, 2008. Trevisan coached men's crew from 1977 to 1999 and led the Gaels' crew program to four Pacific Coast Championships, as well as several Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association medal finishes. The study said a major Delta levee break would result in disruptions of water supplies to Alameda and Contra Costa counties, which would cause regional economic travails.
