    The matchmaker on "Pineapple Express" was the film's third lead, Danny McBride, Green's occasional writing partner and a friend from their years at the North Carolina School of the Arts, where Green enrolled after a brief stint at the University of Texas, Austin, and a quickly reversed decision to join the Marines. Apatow was a fan of McBride's work in "The Foot Fist Way" (a film that got only a token release but was much admired in comedy circles) and invited him to the set of "Knocked Up.".     Trustees of the N.C. School of the Arts have unanimously approved a proposal to change the name of the school to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.     McBride got in touch last week to say that the movie, in which he acts with some friends from his days at the North Carolina School of the Arts, has been picked up by Will Ferrell's new company and will be released this fall by Paramount.     Strasser has served as artist-in-residence for the North Carolina School of the Arts summer program and on the faculties of Madeline Island Music Camp and Macalester College.     Plans for Southeast Gateway unveiled in Winston-Salem  Jul 15, 2006
    A 35-acre project designed to reinvigorate the area surrounded by Salem College, Winston-Salem State University and the North Carolina School of the Arts should have its first buildings under construction by the beginning of next year. Chad Davis, president of local developer , and Tom Calloway, CEO of architecture firm Calloway Johnson Moore & West PA, presented the plans for the so-called Southeast Gateway project to a packed auditorium of more than 200 people late Monday.
