    Until he was elected to the City Council, Mr. Harrington taught government and history and coached basketball at Merrimack College in North Andover.     NORTH ANDOVER Merrimack College taps interim president Merrimack College has named Ronald Champagne, president of Saint Xavier University in Chicago for 12 years, to be its next president. Champagne will take the helm at the private, Catholic college Aug. 1 and is expected to serve at least two years as the North Andover school searches for a long-term successor. (Boston Globe)

    Unsung heroine Gaieski reflects on nearly four decades at the Belmonte  May 23, 2008
