    Saints spikers open season with two wins  Aug 23, 2008
    The Carroll College volleyball team opened the season with two victories, beating Valley City State University and Jamestown College at the Frontier/DAC Crossover Tournament in Dickinson, N.D., Friday.     The entire poll is: Black Hills State (7-0 conference, 8-3 overall in 2006) 49 points; Dickinson State (5-2, 6-4) 40; Jamestown College (5-2, 8-3) 37; Minot State (4-3, 4-6) 31; Valley City State (4-3, 6-4); DSU (2-5, 3-8) 20; S.D. Tech (0-7, 1-9); and Mayville State (1-6, 1-9). Last year with its 7-0 loop log, Black Hills State won its first-ever DAC football championship, along with a spot in the NAIA National Playoffs.     Volleyball Opens Home Slate Tuesday  Aug 28, 2007
    Montana-Western opened the season with four matches in Billings, Montana, where the team dropped matches to South Dakota Mines (0-3), Minot State (2-3), (0-3), (0-3), Jamestown College, and Dickinson State.
