    On July 10, 1943, she married Eldon D. Walter in a ceremony preformed by her father at the home of the groom's mother in rural Carpenter, S.D. They made their home on farms in the Carpenter and Hitchcock areas until 1951 when they moved to Omaha so Eldon could attend Grace Bible Institute (now Grace University). Catherine was not only a homemaker, but while living in Omaha she was also employed in the kitchen at Grace for 21 years. (Freeman Courier, SD)
