    New GPAC golf format starts today  Sep 5, 2008
    The new Great Plains Athletic Conference golf format will make its official debut when Dakota Wesleyan University hosts the first of four GPAC men's golf qualifiers Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. at Wild Oak Golf Club in Mitchell, S.D.. The qualifying meets are a new format for the GPAC and the NAIA. The old format consisted of a 36-hole GPAC championship meet and a 36-hole region championship meet, the latter of which determined the team that would earn an automatic berth to the national meet.
