The Carroll College soccer team got its first test of the new season, dropping an exhibition road match with the University of Montana Monday evening. Though the teams were not given any official score, UM senior Sara Campbell found the back of the net off a free kick in the 26th minute to post the only goal in the scrimmage. The new-look University of Montana soccer team made a successful debut Monday evening, beating Carroll College 1-0 in an exhibition match at South Campus Stadium. Though the Griz added 12 freshmen and a junior college transfer to the roster, it was senior midfielder/forward Sara Campbell who scored the Montana goal, an unassisted tally in the 26th minute.
