Lamping has been inducted into the Vianney High School Hall of Fame and was named 2000 Alumnus of the Year for outstanding achievement by Rockhurst University. A St. Louis native, Lamping holds a bachelor's of science degree in accounting from Rockhurst University in Kansas City and a master's degree in business administration from Saint Louis University. The Lady Pumas (4-10, 1-5 Great Lakes Valley Conference) rebounded from Thursday s 95-49 loss at Drury University with a 66-58 triumph at Rockhurst University on Saturday to snap a three-game losing streak and make their long-awaited appearance in the GLVC win column. SJC scored 17 of the game s first 21 points against Rockhurst and never trailed, limiting the Lady Hawks to 35. (Rensselaer Republican, IN)

SJC (8-6, 3-3 Great Lakes Valley Conference) lost consecutive games for the first time this season last weekend, an 81-69 setback at Drury University and a 94-77 loss at Rockhurst University. The Saint Joseph's College women's basketball team snapped a five-game losing skid in Great Lakes Valley Conference play on Saturday, posting the most dramatic game-to-game improvement in the program's history in a 66-58 victory at Rockhurst University. The Lady Pumas (4-10, 1-5 GLVC), coming off a 95-49 drubbing at the hands of Drury University the second-worst loss in school history SJC exorcised its demons with a hard-fought defensive effort.
