    Reisberg, an assistant professor of art education at Northern Illinois University, joined recently with fellow art teachers, students and children living at Hope Haven homeless shelter to build a tent that will be used as a classroom for refugees from the Darfur region of Sudan. The 8-foot-by-10-foot canvas tent was painted top to bottom with vibrant color images of refugees traveling from a camp to a rebuilt village, and is meant to symbolize hope in a renewal for the people, Reisberg said.
