GALESBURG (GateHouse News Services) - Age-old college rivals Knox College and Monmouth College may be looking at the football season from opposite ends of the coaches predictions but both have similar goals as practice opens for the 2007. Monmouth's Fighting Scots, 7-3 last year, were ranked second in the Midwest Conference coaches poll late last week and Knox's Prairie Fire, 2-8 a year ago, were picked eighth in the 10-team conference.
