    During his tenure at Mountain Brook, Trucks helped lead the Lady Spartans basketball team to a regional appearance at Jacksonville State University in 1996. He then took a role as an assistant with the boys program, helping the Spartans to three regional final appearances in 2001, 2003 and 2006 and a regional semifinal in 2005.
