    St. Augustine Beach has agreed to pay $100,000 to three young women, all Flagler College athletes, arrested without legal merit for underage possession of alcohol, a misdemeanor ... The three women went to a house party in St. Augustine Beach on Sept. 3, 2006, after playing in a volleyball game for Flagler College, according to the suit filed Dec. 6 by the Jacksonville law firm of William J.     Police arrested Flagler College students Kelly Boese, Jessica Wedemyer and Leah Melton in 2006 at a party at a private residence on Oak Road in St. Augustine Beach, where a call to police led to a total of 14 arrests of people accused of possession of alcohol by a minor.     After months of research, writing, casting and preparation, "Spirits of St. Augustine," an historical play written and directed by two Flagler College instructors, hit the stage May 18 at the Holy Cross Charismatic Orthodox Church on Masters Drive.     Flagler's Lamont taken by Tigers in MLB draft  Jun 9, 2007
    Lamont became the first Flagler College prospect to be taken in the Major League First-Year Player Draft since 2002 when he was selected Friday by the Detroit Tigers in the 29th round (901 overall). For Lamont, who because of knee injuries hadn't played a full season of college baseball until this year, it was just like going in the first round. (The St. Augustine Record)
