    FSU Fine Arts Series ready to hit high notes  Aug 23, 2006
    The Fayetteville State University Performing and Fine Arts Department will begin its 2006-07 Fine Arts on Sept. 16 with the Sibyl Quartet, a new four-member ensemble comprised of two FSU professors and two guest artists. The following months will showcase a bevy of artists and musicians - who are as varied as the months themselves, according to Dr. Marvin Curtis assistant dean of the college of Humanities and Social Sciences at Fayetteville State University.     On Aug. 14, from 6-10 a.m., the popular radio show will make its debut at Fayetteville State University's J.W. Seabrook Auditorium. Russell Dean Parr is a former stand-up comic who first gained popularity in the early '90s after leaving Hollywood for a morning show host position at the radio station 1520 KDAY.
