    Tubby Smith Names 2007 Coaching staff  Jun 7, 2007
    Before his tenure at Tennessee State, Esposito was the interim head coach at Assumption College, an NCAA Division II powerhouse in the Northeast-10 Conference for half a season. Prior to being named head coach, Esposito also served as an assistant and then associate head coach for Assumption, prior to assuming temporary head coaching duties in 1994. (GoldenSports.net)

    He was recently given a Doctor of Humanities degree by the Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis and a Doctor of Music degree by Assumption College in Worcester, and in late May he was inducted into the National Institute of Arts and Letters a first, as far as I know, for anyone connected with jazz. A friend of mine who was at the Institute ceremonies told me that Ellington was given a standing ovation. (New Yorker)
