The assorted cups and saucers were unremarkable in themselves until I turned the items over: printed on the bottom of each was the name of an airline - British Airways, Air France, Emirates and a good few others. When British Airways introduced its new range of black and white Wedgwood coffee cups in business class four years ago, it lost 22,000 in the first month alone (Telegraph.co.uk, UK)
