Thieves pried open the door to a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse and broke the window to a 1997 Toyota Tercel between 9 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday while the vehicles were parked in the 200 block of Sunset Drive and stole stereos, amplifiers, speakers and speaker boxes valued at $2,050, Athens-Clarke police said.
