Car thefts foiled by stolen vehicles Jun 2, 2007
It appears after abandoning that vehicle at the corner of W. Graham St. and Seymour (U.S. 24) in a lot owned by Emerson-Sondgerath, the would be thieves broke into the back of the dealership and stole an Oldsmobile Bravada that was undergoing repairs. A mechanic at Emerson-Sondgerath noticed an oil trail leading from the garage door and going west on 24. (Kentland Newton County Enterprise, IN)

According to arrest records, Karcher stopped a black 1991 Oldsmobile Bravada on Illinois 14 about four miles west of Carmi around 7 p.m. after allegedly observing the passenger, Hout, was not wearing a seat belt and the Bravada had loud exhaust. As the trooper approached the vehicle, he noticed a 32-inch LCD television box in the back of the vehicle and determined that the occupants, Hout and Jacinto (the driver), were being evasive in answering questions. Man, 17, arrested for two deaths in traffic accident Mar 3, 2007
According to the investigating officer on the scene, Trooper Paul Kohleffel, the wreck occurred around 1:45 a.m. on a Sunday morning, when the eastbound Ford F250 pickup allegedly driven by Woolman crossed the center line of Texas 242, near Old Houston Road, and struck the westbound Oldsmobile Bravada sport utility vehicle driven by Bennetzen. Cedar Falls police said Mummelthei apparently hit ice and lost control of her Oldsmobile Bravada, which slid over the railing of the railroad overpass just south of Lone Tree Road.
