A 2008 Ford Expedition, purchased for $36,000, and a 2007 Dodge Charger, purchased for about $30,000, will replace two vehicles that had been in and out of service for repairs. A $35,000 state grant that Chief Charles J. Guarnieri Jr. obtained earlier this year paid for most of the Expedition, while the borough took out a loan for the Charger, council President Alfred Akulonis Jr. said. (Scranton Times, PA)

So my 1997 Ford Expedition can pass the emissions testing, and it still produces an enormous amount of the toxin which is creating a problem for us, as compared to my (wife s) 2006 Audi.
