(NYSE: ), and Ferrellgas Finance Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ferrellgas, L.P., today announced a private placement to eligible purchasers of $200 million in aggregate principal amount of their 63/4% Senior Notes due 2014 at an offering price equal to 85% of par. Officials with Kansas City-based Inergy LP and Overland Park-based Ferrellgas Partners LP said propane-powered lawn mowers could become a 500 million-gallon market as gasoline prices soar and clean-fuel initiatives expand. Tucker Perkins, Inergy's director of business development, said that would put the mower market on the same footing as the propane-powered forklift market, which produces about $1 billion a year in revenue for the industry.
