Yes, hats off to Deckers Outdoor Corporation, for making an environmentally friendly shoe, one it claims is made entirely of biodegradable materials (jute, hemp, straw, wool, cork, bamboo etc; once buried they will rot within four months). But hats off even higher for managing to make something that is even, yes, uglier than the Ugg. (Guardian Unlimited)
