Rounding out the committee are Mayor David Stewart representing the City of Newport and John Connor, III, originally from Newport, but now living in Little Rock, who made the initial connection between Newport and the Clinton School of Public Service. In other business, Mayor David Stewart told the council that the grass in town has been "growing like crazy" causing the city to have to create a third mowing crew Monday morning.
