Few architects today can claim as varied a list of antecedents as Esocoff does: Boston s Charles Bulfinch, Washington s Thomas Schneider, Philadelphia s Frank Furness, Alvar Aalto, Louis Kahn, Robert Venturi, and Antoni Gaudi and the Barcelona Modernistas, among many others, including Frank Gehry (a little bit) and Esocoff s own wife, pattern-loving architect Amy Weinstein (a lot).
