Roar medical staff said the "minimal displacement" is in the lower part of the leg, towards the ankle, but there are concerns Murdocca could have also damaged the deltoid ligament in his left ankle. He will undergo an MRI scan on Monday to determine the extent of damage and the need for surgery. (Sydney Morning Herald -- Sport)

Joura succumbs to Olympics ankle injury  Jun 1, 2009
"Usually if they go in and surgically repair that tendon you lose a range of motion further on down the track, which means your ankle is prone to more injury in the future. "However it's been nine months now (since the Olympics), and I had an MRI recently and it showed that the deltoid ligament is still completely ruptured. The West Australian remains hopeful of returning in 2010 at full strength, with the 2010 Pacific Rim Championships and 2010 Commonwealth Games in her sights. (Sydney Morning Herald -- Sport)

Sources: No more penalties for Warriors' Ellis  Apr 15, 2009
The Warriors maintained from the start that they were not intent on holding the threat of voiding the contract over Ellis but merely protecting club interests, until they had hard evidence that Ellis would fully recover from his high ankle sprain and torn deltoid ligament in his left ankle. The team does not appear to be concerned about Ellis' latest discomfort, saying that the bone bruise and inflammation is on the opposite side of the ankle than where the injury was initially suffered.
