Minocqua Librarian Mary Taylor said the towns library which is also accessible to patrons outside of the township, such as those who live in Arbor Vitae in Vilas County has been growing in use since it first opened at the current location in 1983. 28th Annual Peoples Choice Show will be held Saturday, Aug.1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Arbor Vitae Town Hall (old roller skating rink). People Choice Show will exhibit artwork including drawings, paintings, carvings, woodburing, woven baskets and jewelry done by local artists, sponsored by the Lakeland Art League.
